Ride DART for Free to Vote in the November 3 Election
DALLAS TX, October 27, 2026 - Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is dedicated to expanding access to transportation and supporting voter participation by once again providing free rides to polling locations within the DART Service Area on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. On Election Day, all DART buses, trains, and paratransit services will be provided at no additional charge, to help eliminate transportation barriers on Election Day.
"Every citizen has a basic right to vote. However, transportation to get to a polling location stops far too many people from casting their ballots," said Trenise Winters, EVP and Chief Operations Officer. "We are excited to have the opportunity to provide this free service on election day."
All rides will be free of charge across the following DART services:
- DART Buses and Trains
- Silver Line
- GoLink (use promo code VOTENOV3 when booking)
- Dallas Streetcar
- Paratransit Services**
- Trinity Railway Express (TRE)
** To receive the Election Day promotion, Paratransit riders must schedule their Nov. 3 trip by calling (214)-515-7272.
Voters should be prepared to show their voter registration card or government ID to ride at no cost on all DART buses. GoLink riders can use promo code VOTENOV3 at checkout for a complimentary Adult Local Day Pass in the DART GoPass app on November 3rd. You can learn more at dart.org/vote.

Plan Your Trip on DART to a Voting Location
Riders who need customized trip planning can map out their ride with the "Plan" tool in the free DART GoPass app or use the Trip Planner on DART.org. DART Customer Service can also assist at 214-979-1111.
If you plan your trip directly in Google Maps, enter the voting location as your destination and choose the Transit option (train icon) to get travel directions using DART.
