The evolutions included coordinated response from the "fire station" to multiple fires on multiple floors in the burn training building.. Recruit firefighters, as fire companies, established water supplies, deployed attack lines to contain & extinguish the fire, searched for victims, ventilated & overhauled. They also deployed both ground and aerial ladders for ventilation, access, egress, search & rescue.
Recruit firefighters, during burn days, establish water supply via fire hydrant and operate the pump at the fire.
Graduation is scheduled for Friday, February 13th.
Thank you to the DFS/MFA staff, especially the instructors, support, & engineering personnel for sharing the knowledge & experience.
