Senator Warren Statement on October and November 2025 Jobs Report

Washington, D.C. - Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee released the following statement:

"After the first canceled monthly jobs report in nearly 80 years, we are finally getting updated numbers about Donald Trump's economy - and they don't look good for the American people. Donald Trump's chaotic tariffs and failed economic policies are hammering the labor market and harming workers. Job growth is stalling and unemployment spiked to its highest rate in more than four years. In October alone, we lost 105,000 jobs. With wages struggling to keep up with higher costs, it's no wonder Americans are more anxious about the economy than ever."
