TCEQ approves fines totaling $2,176,769
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $2,092,716 against 44 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: 22 air quality, one industrial hazardous waste, one industrial wastewater discharge, two municipal solid waste, 14 municipal wastewater discharge, two public water system, and one water quality.
A default order was issued for the following enforcement category: one petroleum storage tank.
In addition, on Sept. 22, 2026, the executive director approved penalties totaling $84,053 against 19 entities.
