Locations: Show Players Where You Coach

When a parent or player is thinking about booking a lesson, one of the first questions is simple: where do you coach? If the answer takes a few clicks to find, or isn't clear at all, it's an easy reason to move on.

That's why we've given your venue listing an upgrade. Your website's venues page has had a refresh and a new name: Locations.

What's live

Each venue you coach at can now have its own page, complete with a photo, a short description, and the programmes you run there. All your venues can also be pulled together on one Locations page, so people can see everywhere you coach at a glance.

The look and feel of your "Where we teach" section has been updated too, with the option to add an image to each location.

What you can do

  • Add a description and cover photo for each venue, so players and parents know what to expect before they arrive
  • Choose whether your Locations page appears on your website, and where it sits
  • Reorder your locations in whatever way makes sense for you, such as your main venue first or by area

How to set it up

It only takes a few minutes:

  1. Go to Website Manager, then Locations
  2. Select a venue and choose Edit
  3. Add a description and a cover photo, then save
  4. Turn on your Locations page and choose where it sits on your website

Nothing changes until you decide

Your locations only appear on your website once you've added the details and switched them on, so there's no risk in taking a look. Nothing will change on your site until you've set it up yourself.

Why it's worth a few minutes

For coaches working across several venues, clear location pages do some of the explaining for you. Players and parents can see where you teach, what you run there, and what the venue looks like, before they get in touch. A good photo and a couple of sentences per venue is enough to make a real difference.
