9/22/2025 - Saint Helena, CA - Registration is now open for the 30th Annual Premiere Napa Valley, taking place February 18-21, 2026. Hosted by the Napa Valley Vintners (NVV), this year will be a week-long celebration of Napa Valley wine and community along with a first look at the highly anticipated 2024 vintage.
"Premiere is always such a fun time to see our trade partners who support us throughout the year and to catch up with fellow vintners. There is nothing quite like it,' said Josh Phelps, Owner and Winemaker of Grounded Wine Co. and co-chair of this year's auction.
His father and co-chair, Chris Phelps, consulting winemaker for Grounded Wine Co. and Chris Phelps Wines, added "There is always a buzz of unified purpose and focus at Premiere. We gather to share each other's successes and to exchange ideas. It feels like we're all part of one big family."
Where the Industry Gathers
February in Napa Valley is the place to be for members of the wine trade. With more than 250 top Napa Valley wineries participating and 1,000 members of the wine trade in attendance, Premiere Napa Valley is the must attend event for anyone serious about fine wine.
Attendees in 2025 described Premiere week as a chance to reconnect with old friends, discover breakout brands and taste the upcoming new releases before they hit the market. It's also a rare opportunity to dive deep into the trends shaping Napa Valley's future. For many in the trade, it's the ultimate way to sharpen their expertise and bring fresh knowledge back to their teams and clients.
When it comes to purchasing Premiere Napa Valley lots, one trade member put it best, it's a way to "attract clientele who are looking to obtain higher-end products." These exclusive wines make a point of distinction for any wine program.
Schedule of Events
In the days leading up to the main event, Napa Valley wineries will roll out the red carpet, hosting an incredible lineup of preview tastings and networking events. Guests will taste current release wines alongside the limited production Premiere Napa Valley lots that will be up for auction.
Then, on Saturday, February 21, the best week in the Napa Valley wine business culminates with the Grand Barrel Tasting and Live Auction, held at the iconic Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena. This one-day event offers wine trade members a rare opportunity to taste and bid on some of Napa Valley's most coveted wines, crafted exclusively for the auction and unavailable anywhere else.
A First Look at the 2024 Vintage
Napa Valley's 2024 vintage will be debuted at this year's Premiere Napa Valley. Described as dynamic and rich in flavor, the 2024 vintage captures the unique character of Napa Valley, blending boldness with elegance.
Winemakers craft their best and most special wines for the auction. These one-of-a-kind wines tell a story of place, vintage and vision. Lot sizes range from 60 to 240 bottles total, making these Napa Valley's rarest commercially available wines.
Three Ways to Participate
This year there are three options for wine trade participation.
