Wednesday, May 13, 2026 - Ankara-born, New York-based Turkish artist and songwriter Bade returns with "eta," the second single from her upcomingEP Divane. Blending moody alt-pop and R&B with atmospheric minimalism, the track layers Turkish percussion and global sonic influences into an immersive, emotionally charged soundscape.

The song explores the emotional loop of using new connections as a temporary escape, a modern way of navigating relationships, getting caught between distraction and dependency, where one person becomes a way to get over another by falling into something that feels like love, even when it isn't. A "crying in the club" type record at its core, it balances emotional weight with a rhythmic, immersive sound.

Moving fluidly between English and Turkish, Bade captures feelings of distance, longing, and inner fragmentation through lyrics like "What's your ETA, text me on the way" and "Konumum belli, sorma nerdeyim" ("My location is clear, don't ask where I am"). The result is a track that feels both deeply personal and globally resonant.

With "eta," Bade continues carving out a distinct artistic identity rooted in emotional honesty, experimentation, and cross-cultural storytelling, offering a fresh, genre-blurring perspective within contemporary global pop.

Moving fluidly between Turkish and English, Bade's music pushes boundaries, forming a borderless sound that feels intimate yet expansive. Rooted in personal experience and shaped by a cross-cultural perspective, her sound carries traditional elements, reimagined through a contemporary lens. Born and raised in Ankara, Türkiye, Bade began her musical journey by releasing songs from home during the pandemic, later collaborating with Kenan Doğulu on her self-titled debut EP in 2022. She continues to expand her sound with "300 Texts," the first single from her upcoming EP Divane, due in spring 2026. Currently based between New York and İstanbul, Bade's artistry is driven by a desire to bring people together through music. Through bilingual storytelling and emotionally resonant sound, she shows that language is not a barrier but a bridge and a way for listeners from different backgrounds to connect through shared emotion.
