Euromines at NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum: Strengthening Europe’s defence supply chains starts with secure raw materials

On 7 July 2026, Euromines President Jan Moström joined senior representatives from the semiconductor, automotive and defence industries at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum in Ankara for the high-level panel discussion, "Resilient by Design: Future-proofing Allied Supply Chains."

The discussion highlighted a growing consensus: as geopolitical tensions increase and strategic competition intensifies, resilient industrial value chains begin with secure and reliable access to critical raw materials. Europe's industrial competitiveness, technological leadership and defence readiness all depend on a strong and resilient upstream supply base.
