Two Senior Attorneys Join Employment Law Firm LightGabler LLP

LightGabler LLP, a Camarillo-based, state-wide employment defense and consulting law firm, has added two senior trial attorneys to its staff.

Darryl Hottinger has over 25 years of experience handling complex civil litigation, representing and counseling employers of all sizes throughout California, and obtaining successful results in difficult, high-stakes cases. He began his legal career as a Deputy Attorney General, where he successfully defended the State of California in more than 40 criminal appeals.

Melanie Ely has spent her entire legal career in defense litigation, working her way up from law clerk to paralegal to attorney. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Women Lawyers of Ventura County.

Hottinger and Ely represent employers in cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour claims, breach of contract, defamation, protection of employer trade secrets and confidential information, and unfair business practices. They counsel employers on how to avoid employment-related legal mistakes that could lead to litigation.

"Maintaining a workplace that meets all the legal requirements dictated by state and federal laws is daunting," says Jonathan Fraser Light, LightGabler managing partner. "When legal issues arise, Darryl and Melanie have the expertise to successfully represent our clients in court."

LightGabler is a 23-attorney, award-winning employment law firm representing employers and their management in California. For more information about LightGabler, call 805-248-7208 or go to www.LightGablerLaw.com .
