US-41 culvert replacement near Chassell starts Sept. 22
CHASSELL, Mich. - Contractors for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing an emergency culvert replacement on US-41 north of Massie Road near Chassell in Houghton County beginning Monday, Sept. 22.
Crews will be replacing a culvert that was damaged by excessive rainfall. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 27.
Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic on US-41 with temporary traffic signals.
This project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
