AUGUSTA, Ga. (April 2025) - Club Car, a global leader in small-wheel, zero-emission vehicles, is proud to spotlight how the Urban Electric UTV is helping PostNord, the Nordic region's leading parcel and logistics provider, advance sustainable operations across Scandinavia.
PostNord's mission is to make everyday life easier through efficient, environmentally responsible logistics. As part of its bold sustainability strategy, the company has deployed over 5,000 electric vehicles in its 12,000-vehicle fleet, including approximately 1,000 Garia Utility models now integrated under the Club Car Urban platform. These compact, low-emission UTVs are primarily used for last-mile delivery in dense urban environments-where they have proven to be both efficient and dependable.
Designed to perform in harsh Nordic conditions, the Club Car Urban electric UTV delivers full-day operation and recharges overnight, maintaining exceptional uptime even during extreme cold.
"The reliability of Garia Utility vehicles is crucial as they make around 700 stops and starts a day in often extreme cold," said Søren Rathmann, Category Manager of Fleet & Transport Equipment at PostNord.
Garia won PostNord's fleet tender not only for vehicle performance and cost but also for its total cost of ownership, combining minimal downtime, strong service support, and alignment with carbon-reduction goals.
"These vehicles are particularly useful in areas where other vehicles cannot go, such as restricted areas, enabling PostNord to exceed customer deliver expectations," said Rathmann. "With 6-8 service technicians covering over 100 service points, Garia has proven to be a reliable partner for PostNord."
Through this partnership, PostNord continues to lead the Nordic logistics sector in sustainability, improving delivery efficiency while reducing environmental impact. The Club Car Urban lineup brings this same proven durability, versatility, and electric efficiency to customers around the world.
