PRESS RELEASE
A New Series of Epicurean Experiences presented by DoorDash Reservations Where Each Event Tells a Unique Tale of Legacy, Mentorship, and Personal Passion
LAS VEGAS (Apr. 2, 2026) - The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is setting the stage for a series of unique culinary narratives with the debut of Culinary Crossroads, a groundbreaking program of curated events launching this year, presented by DoorDash Reservations. This is not a single story, but a collection of them, a place where the world of gastronomy is explored through different lenses. From a master passing the torch to the next generation, to an intimate journey through a chef's homeland, each event is a one-of-a-kind experience.
Culinary Crossroads brings the architects of modern dining, pioneers like Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck, and José Andrés, together with emerging talent and singular concepts to create unforgettable moments. It's a platform where mentorship is plated, legacies are reimagined, and personal passions are shared, further cementing the resort's evolution as a premier global dining destination.
"The most memorable meals are born from a great story," said Patrick Nichols, president and chief executive officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. "With Culinary Crossroads, we are creating a stage for the most compelling stories in the culinary world to be told. Whether it's about the importance of mentorship, the evolution of a family legacy, or a chef's personal love letter to their culture, we are inviting our guests to experience the heart and soul behind the cuisine in a way they never have before."
The Story of Mentorship: 2026 Ment'or Young Chef Commis Competition with Thomas Keller

The series kicks off by nurturing the very roots of the craft. The Ment'or 2026 Young Chef and Commis Competitions, founded by culinary giants Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Jérôme Bocuse, are dedicated to cultivating the next wave of American culinary excellence. Later that evening at Bouchon, guests can join the celebration of mentorship at "Celebrating 18 Years of Ment'or," mingling with culinary royalty and the promising competitors they champion.
$75 for the Competition at UNLV; $250 for the "Celebrating 18 Years of Ment'or" dinner at Bouchon.
The Generational Tasting Tour with Wolfgang Puck and Byron Lazaroff-Puck
Thursday, April 30 | CUT by Wolfgang Puck
For 44 years, Wolfgang Puck has not just been a chef; he has been a force of nature who redefined American cuisine and built a global empire. Now, witness a pivotal moment in that legacy as he passes the torch to his son, Byron Lazaroff-Puck. The "Generational Tasting Tour" culminates at CUT in a dinner that is a conversation on a plate.
Experience the dialogue firsthand as Wolfgang presents a dish that cemented his iconic status-a taste of the bold flavors that started a revolution. Then, see that very same concept transformed through Byron's eyes, reimagined with the cutting-edge techniques honed in three-Michelin-star kitchens and a contemporary, global perspective. It is a rare opportunity to taste history and the future in a single seating, a narrative of a father's legendary foundation and a son's bold vision for what comes next.
