Update: CBJ Recycling Center Closes Saturday, January 24 for Continued Repairs

January 23, 2026 - FYI

The Recycling Center, operated by CBJ contractor WM, will be closed tomorrow, January 24. CBJ staff are working quickly to repair the center's baler and clear the high volume of recycling materials received. CBJ is hopeful that the repairs will be completed by early next week and will continue to provide updates regarding the progress and reopening.

CBJ appreciates the community's patience as these ongoing efforts to restore this critical service are completed. Visit the CBJ RecycleWorks website at juneaurecycling.com for updates on the current Recycling Center schedule.
