Ideaship, a venture capital firm by Global Technology Transfer Group, has invested in Kavaken to accelerate the development of predictive intelligence solutions for wind asset owners and operators. Kavaken leverages AI and existing SCADA telemetry and operational data to predict failures, improve production forecasting, and reduce costly downtime across renewable energy infrastructure.
"We immediately established a rapport with Bora, who was US educated and shared his vision of establishing a significant business presence in the United States," said Michael Lubitz. "The leaders at Kavaken recognized the importance of building a strong patent portfolio as part of the company's next phase of growth and felt Ideaship was a strong strategic match."
Founded by Bora Tokyay, Kavaken is helping renewable energy operators improve uptime and optimize asset performance through predictive maintenance, power-curve optimization, outage automation, and advanced forecasting tools. The platform also accelerates root cause analysis and streamlines insurance claims documentation for aging wind infrastructure.
Kavaken is building the next generation of operational intelligence tools for renewable energy infrastructure, helping wind asset owners and operators improve reliability, efficiency, and long-term financial performance.
