Tennessee Highway Patrol Seeks Information on Sumner County Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is seeking information that may aid in the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run crash in Sumner County. Preliminary information indicates that a hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian on Saturday, May 2, around 1:15 a.m. in Sumner County. The crash occurred on Hwy 386 (Vietnam Veterans Boulevard) eastbound at mile marker 4 in Hendersonville.

Investigators recovered a passenger side door mirror at the scene matching the make and model of the following vehicles: a 2017-2022 Ford F-250/F-350 or possibly a 2021-2025 Ford F-150.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information regarding the whereabouts of the driver or vehicle is encouraged to contact the Tennessee Highway Patrol Emergency Dispatch Communications Center at 615-986-4986, press 0, and request to speak with Trooper Noble Phillips of the Tennessee Highway Patrol Criminal Investigations Division.
