Texas Christian University will present degrees to more than 2,800 candidates during a reimagined and expanded commencement tradition May 8-9, 2026. This year's commencement will feature an all-university commencement ceremony on Friday evening on Moncrief Field at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
Chancellor Daniel W. Pullin will offer remarks at this redesigned ceremony, which will also feature multiple speakers, proud traditions such as the tossing of caps and a spectacular fireworks finale.
Each school and college will also host its own academic convocation throughout Friday and Saturday. These ceremonies, led by each dean, will feature special recognitions and the traditional calling of every graduate's name and their walk across the stage.
The candidates include approximately 550 graduate-level students, one triple degree, 44 double degrees, 68 4.0s, and more than 1,400 recipients of Latin honors. Graduates include more than 160 international students from 48 countries, over 1,100 students from 46 different states and over 1,400 students from Texas.
