PUBLIC NOTICE
Amendment to the Waldorf Station Development Agreement
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Charles County, Maryland will conduct a Public Hearing on June 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. to consider an Amendment to the Waldorf Station Development Agreement. The meeting will be held in the Government Building Conference Room ("Blue Room") and via video teleconference. The hearing is open to the public, and public testimony is encouraged.
The applicant, GGCAL WALDORF HOLDING, LLC, has proposed a modification of the Amended and Restated Waldorf Station Development Agreement, dated November 16, 2022. The amendment would amend Article IV, Section A of the Agreement to allow an increase in the number of residential units allowed in Stage 1 from no more than 545 units to no more than 615 units if a minimum of 70 residential units are constructed as stacked townhouses. The amendment also provides a definition of "stacked townhouses." The Planning Commission will consider the proposed Amendment to the Agreement and make a finding of consistency with the Comprehensive Plan, pursuant to Chapter 297, Article XXX, Code of Charles County, Maryland.

Public testimony may be given either in person or virtually. Each speaker is allotted three (3) minutes. If a registered speaker is not available when called, the County has the right to move onto the next caller.
