ICANN90 Annual General Meeting Location Announced

Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced that Adelaide, Australia, in the Asia Pacific region, has been selected as the location for the ICANN90 Annual General Meeting. It will take place from 30 October to 4 November 2027 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The meeting will be hosted by the .au Domain Administration (auDA).

This marks the third time that ICANN is holding a Public Meeting in Australia. ICANN08 was held in Melbourne in March 2001, and ICANN35 was held in Sydney in June 2009.

ICANN holds three Public Meetings each calendar year in different regions around the world. ICANN Public Meetings are an essential element of ICANN's multistakeholder model and provide a venue to progress policy work, conduct outreach, exchange best practices, conduct business, and interact with other members of the ICANN community, Board, and organization.

These meetings, typically comprising more than 100 sessions, are an important opportunity for individuals and representatives from ICANN's various stakeholder groups to discuss issues related to ICANN's policy development process. Participants may attend either in person or remotely. Meetings are free to attend and open to everyone.
