Each year in August, new Lobos kick off their first semester at The University of New Mexico with the annual late summer traditional event known as First-Year Family Day.
Held right before fall classes begin, this event is meant to celebrate the first phases of a new student's college life with friends and family as they get acclimated to the UNM community and its many resources. Celebrate the Class of 2029's big day on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m.
