GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS - [November 10, 2025]
- Grand Prairie continues to strengthen its position in advanced manufacturing with the announcement that Baumann Springs Ltd., a Swiss family-owned manufacturer of high-precision springs and stampings, has selected the city to expand its production capacity for medical device components. Through the expansion, 50 new jobs will be created, increasing the company's local workforce to more than 100 employees.
"Grand Prairie is thrilled that Baumann is bringing new growth and job opportunities to our community," said Mayor Ron Jensen. "They've been a fantastic partner in our city, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Baumann to help improve health and safety around the world".
The expansion includes additional space at the current Baumann facility at 3075 North Great Southwest Parkway and a new adjacent building at 2951 North Great Southwest Parkway. Construction is set to begin this fall, with operations launching in spring 2026.

Baumann's expansion reinforces Grand Prairie's growing reputation as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing in North Texas."
Founded in Switzerland in 1886, the Baumann Group is a family-owned company now led by the fifth generation. The company employs approximately 1,500 people across nine countries. With this expansion, Grand Prairie will be home to more than 150 of those employees, reflecting the city's growing role in advanced manufacturing across the region.
