Atlanta Military Community to Receive New TSA PreCheck® “Serve with Honor, Travel with Ease” Benefits

ATLANTA - In honor of the enduring sacrifice of our nation's military families, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is proud to announce a new partnership with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to enhance the travel experience for members of the U.S. military community as part of a national campaign.

TSA is introducing expedited access at ATL's TSA PreCheck^® lanes for active-duty service members and their families. In support of our active-duty service members and families at several Atlanta military installations, including Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Fort Benning and Fort Stewart, ATL will offer front-of-the-line privileges for military families. Services are also provided to all military members and their families traveling through Georgia. Additionally, on certain days when larger crowds are expected, ATL may open a dedicated screening lane for members of our military community.

"TSA ATL has a strong partnership with our military community, and expanding TSA PreCheck benefits will directly assist the tens of thousands of active-duty service members who live in the state of Georgia and travel through ATL. TSA is committed to honoring the service and sacrifice of military families by ensuring their travel is convenient and stress-free."

TSA will also provide the following benefits to all military members and their families:

• Gold Star families can enroll in TSA PreCheckat no cost.
• Spouses of active-duty personnel can receive a $25 discount on the TSA PreCheck enrollment fee.
• TSA PreCheck remains free for uniformed service members.

The TSA Caresprogram remains available for veterans and wounded warriors, providing personalized assistance through the screening process and ensuring a smooth and seamless screening experience.
