Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom Internship Opportunities
The Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom program provides agricultural information through teaching resources and lesson plans to help K-12 students develop an understanding of how food is grown and raised. The program works within existing curricula to provide basic information on the nation's largest industry: agriculture.

Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom Intern - The individual in this role will gain valuable experience in non-profit work, educational design, coordinating volunteer programming, and networking with professionals in agriculture and education fields. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: creating resources for volunteer agricultural literacy programs, coordinating awards and outreach for the Ag in the Classroom Essay Contest, and planning and organizing AITC's presence at statewide events.

The Wisconsin Farm Bureau is the state's largest general farm organization representing farms of different sizes, commodities and management styles. Members belong to one of 61 county Farm Bureaus, run by a board of directors made up of people working in agriculture. Farm Bureau prides itself on being a grassroots organization.

Wisconsin Farm Bureau Communications Intern - The individual in this role will gain valuable experience in non-profit work, social media content strategy, event coverage and networking with professionals in agriculture. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: social media content creation and management, content capturing for multiple media platforms, content creation for WFBF's publications, developing multimedia social media campaigns and making SEO updates on the WFBF website.

Wisconsin Farm Bureau Leadership & Programs Intern - The individual in this role will gain valuable experience in non-profit work, event planning, coordinating volunteers and networking with professionals in agriculture. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: assisting material creation for the Wisconsin FFA Discussion Meet, assisting with the organization's Promotion and Education Committee and Young Farmer and Agriculturist Committee, contributing to the planning of FFA Farm Forum and the promotion of Farm Neighbors Care resources and materials.

Gather Wisconsin Intern - The individual in this role will work with Wisconsin Farm Bureau's consumer brand, Gather Wisconsin, gaining valuable experience in SEO strategy, website management, social media management, and networking with professionals in the food and agriculture industries. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: developing multimedia campaigns, e-newsletter management, social media and website management, and an SEO performance review of the Gather Wisconsin website.
