Dentons welcomes Guillermo Bailach Miro as a new Tax Partner in Spain

Madrid - Guillermo Bailach Miró has joined global law firm Dentons as a new partner in the Tax practice in Madrid. His recruitment reflects the Firm's commitment to strengthening its capabilities in complex transactions, in response to growing demand in the areas of transactional tax, international structuring, and tax risk mitigation.

Guillermo Bailach, who has over 15 years' professional experience, provides clients with tax advice on high-value M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, spin-offs, and reorganizations. He also advises on international tax structuring, particularly in regulated sectors such as insurance and life sciences. He has solid experience in warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurance, underwriting policies to cover tax risks, and complex tax proceedings. His high professional standing and market reputation have earned him accolades in prestigious international directories such as ITR World Tax (Rising Star 2025).

Before joining Dentons, Bailach built his career at firms such as DLA Piper, EY, and Ramón y Cajal Abogados, where in addition to his work in Spain, he gained international experience in London and New York. He has a strong academic background, serving as a professor of tax law and director of the real estate transaction taxation and global minimum taxation courses at the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as a lecturer in the graduate program in international taxation at the University of Buenos Aires.
