DGA-Backed Group Releases New Ad Calling Out Jack Ciattarelli's Terrifying Tax-Raising Agenda

Locals call it "The Jack Tax," a terrifying 10% tax on everything you buy

Today, Greater Garden State, a group backed by the Democratic Governors Association, released a new ad in New Jersey for voters feeling spooked by Jack Ciattarelli's proposed spine-chilling price hike on hardworking families. Candy, pumpkins, and halloween costumes are only getting more expensive as everyday costs are rising, but Ciattarelli repeatedly discussing how a "10% sales tax on everything, including food and clothing," is "on the table" is the scariest thing about this spooky season.

Ciattarelli has already endorsed Trump's chaotic tariffs and deeply unpopular budget - both of which are making life more expensive in New Jersey. His terrifying tax hike would only make life more difficult for families who are bearing the weight of Republicans' punishing policies.

This ad is part of a $20 million reservation in TV, digital, and streaming ads to run across New Jersey ahead of this year's gubernatorial election.

You can watch the ad here and read the transcript below.

Narrator: It could get you at the grocery story or maybe the gas station.

Locals call it "The Jack Tax," a terrifying 10% tax on everything you buy, sprung from the mind of this man: Jack Ciattarelli.

He voted to raise property taxes and even talked about a 10% sales tax on everything.

Ciattarelli: A ten percent sales tax on everything.

Narrator: Even chainsaws. This November, only you can stop "The Jack Tax."
