China’s Newly Appointed Head of Office to Palestine Sun Zhen Presents Copy of Credentials

On July 11, 2026, H.E. Mr. Sun Zhen, the newly appointed Head of Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine, presented a copy of his credentials to H.E. Dr. Varsen Aghabekian, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine.

Sun stated that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the third anniversary of the establishment of the China-Palestine Strategic Partnership. He is willing to work closely with the Palestinian side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and promote China-Palestine relations to a higher level. China firmly supports the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights, and stands ready to make unremitting efforts to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting settlement to the Palestinian question at the earliest opportunity.

Varsen warmly congratulated the Communist Party of China on its 105th anniversary and welcomed Sun to his new post.
