Stop by Chandler’s Neighborhood…

Sept. 16, 2025

CHANDLER, Ariz. - In honor of National Good Neighbor Day, Chandler residents can stop by the city's Neighborhood Resources building for a free treat from Andy's Custard on Friday, Sept. 26, from 3-4:30 p.m. Attendees also will receive a coloring sheet with tips on how to be a good neighbor and other resources offered by the department.

Neighborhood Resources is located directly south of Chandler City Hall at 235 S. Arizona St. (just east of Arizona Avenue along Chicago Street). Chandler's Neighborhood Programs staff will be outside to greet attendees as they drive by to receive their free items.

"National Good Neighbor Day is a fun reminder of how small acts of kindness can strengthen our community," said Priscilla Quintana, Chandler's neighborhood programs manager. "Whether it's checking in on a neighbor, lending a helping hand, or even sharing a smile, these neighborly connections make our city a more welcoming place for everyone. My team hopes you can stop by to meet us."
