MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - On Saturday, October 3, the Middlesex County Office of Health Services hosted its 15th annual Middlesex County Pancreatic Cancer Walk For the Cure at Roosevelt Park, bringing together more than 260 participants to raise money for pancreatic research at the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
This year's walk, along with the 2026 Pancreatic Cancer Co-Ed Softball Tournament, raised $25,000, helping drive innovation in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and early detection of pancreatic cancer. Residents may continue donating through Monday, November 30 in recognition of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month at raise.rutgersfoundation.org/MCPCW.
The County encourages residents to learn more about pancreatic cancer, speak with their healthcare providers about risk factors and symptoms, and get involved in local awareness and education efforts.
