Broomfield Wins Best-Tasting Water in the Rocky Mountain Region
Broomfield's Water Utilities staff won the "best-tasting water" title at the 17th Annual Rocky Mountain Water Taste Test Competition, hosted by the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association. The competition, held Tuesday, Aug. 26, featured water utilities from Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado. A panel of judges evaluated entries on taste, appearance, smell and overall impression.
This achievement is a testament to the Water Treatment Facility staff's dedication to providing top-quality water. As the regional winner, Broomfield earned an invitation to compete for the national "best-tasting water" title at the American Water Works Association's convention in Washington, D.C.
