Pennsylvania State Police, PSP Helicopter on Campus April 15

As part of the Pennsylvania State Police "Come Get to Know Us" events to provide communities across the commonwealth with an inside look at career opportunities and specialized units within PSP, members of the PSP Recruitment Services Section will be at IUP, in and around the Oak Grove, on April 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Weather permitting, a PSP helicopter will be on site as part of the event, which is free and open to the community.

Attendees will have the chance to meet members of the state police, view equipment displays, and watch demonstrations, while learning about the requirements to become a trooper, a liquor control enforcement officer, a motor carrier enforcement officer, and a police communications operator.

These "Come Get to Know Us" events reflect the Shapiro Administration's work to support the Pennsylvania State Police and encourage more individuals to pursue careers as state troopers.
