60 emerging credit union leaders have been selected for the 2026 Crash the GAC program, including two representatives from Maryland and DC.
Kaylene Chavez of OAS Federal Credit Union and Tyler Lardy of Library of Congress Federal Credit Union are among the professionals chosen to participate in The Cooperative Trust's Crash program during the Governmental Affairs Conference March 1-5 in Washington, DC.
The program provides emerging professionals with a front-row seat to the nation's largest credit union advocacy event. Crashers gain leadership development experience, connect with industry leaders, and build lasting relationships with peers from across the credit union movement - all while deepening their commitment to the cooperative mission.
"The leaders selected to Crash the GAC represent the talent, passion, and purpose that will shape the future of cooperative finance, and I'm excited to see the impact they'll have not just at GAC, but throughout their careers,"said Scott Simpson, President & CEO of America's Credit Unions.
Crash the GAC programming is made possible by The Cooperative Trust from Filene Research Institute and through the generous support from America's Credit Unions. To see the full list of selected Crashers, please visit filene.org/blog/crashgac26
