London-Dentons, the world's largest global law firm, has advised JINGDONG Property on the acquisition of a prime logistics development in Desford, Leicester, from Griffin UK.

The acquisition comprises two high-quality logistics units totalling 231,727 square feet, together with 27.21 acres of land at Griffin Park, a prime logistics hub in the East Midlands. The site includes consented land capable of delivering up to 678,000 square feet of new Grade A logistics space.

The transaction ranks among the region's largest industrial investment deals of 2025, highlighting continued demand for prime logistics assets within the Golden Triangle.

JINGDONG Property is a rapidly growing international infrastructure, investment and asset management arm of JD.com, focused on the investment, development and management of logistics and related infrastructure assets. The business entered the UK logistics market in mid-2022 and has since built a portfolio across the Midlands and North West England.
