Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will visit Rovaniemi, Finland, on 20 November.
While in Rovaniemi, Minister Elina Valtonen will visit the University of Lapland and Lapland Startup Hub and take part in the programme for the visit of NATO's Permanent Representatives to Finland.
At an event at the University of Lapland, Minister Valtonen will give a speech about Finland's foreign and security policy in the Arctic security landscape.
"The Arctic's role in Finland's foreign and security policy is becoming increasingly important. Finland aims to promote stability in the region. We also have a great deal of Arctic expertise that we want to make use of," says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
Minister Valtonen will also attend the opening of the Lapland Startup Hub.
