Temporary Closures on Ustick Road Beginning January 12

The City of Nampa is currently widening Ustick Road between Can Ada Road and Owyhee Storm Avenue into a four-lane arterial roadway with multi-use side paths. Once completed, the project will add new signalized intersections at Star Road and Owyhee Storm Avenue. Short-term road closures are necessary to replace irrigation laterals located within the roadway.

The intersection at Star Road and Ustick Road will be closed January 12-18. Through-traffic will not be permitted. Access to Owyhee High School via Ustick Road will be maintained from the east side via the Owyhee Storm bypass Road. Drivers should utilize posted detour routes on Can Ada Road, Cherry Lane, McDermott Road and McMillan Road. McMillan Road remains closed between Can Ada Road and Star Road for a City of Meridian sewer line installation project.

Ustick Road will be closed between Can Ada Road and Star Road January 19-February 1. Local access will be coordinated. Drivers should utilize posted detour routes on Can Ada Road, Cherry Lane and Star Road.
