October 30, 2026 - Japanese-Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and producer CHANMINA continues a defining chapter in her career with the release of new single "HISTORY," out today. A multilingual artist who raps and sings in Japanese, Korean and English, CHANMINA moves fluidly across pop, hip-hop, alternative rock and R&B, building a singular sound and a devoted international following. Equally at home behind the mic and behind the scenes, she has established herself as one of the world's most versatile creative forces, bringing a distinct perspective to songwriting, production and visual expression. Her first full-length album in three years, LEGEND, arrives November 11, bringing together a decade of artistic evolution and the experiences, challenges and defining moments that have shaped her life and career.

CHANMINA's influence extends well beyond music. A 2026 Vogue Japan cover star and a friend of CHANEL, she also graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar Japan in 2025 and has also been featured in ELLE Japan . Her presence across leading fashion publications reflects an artist whose creative identity reaches across disciplines, challenging expectations and defining her own terms.

"HISTORY" follows the release of LEGEND's title track, " LEGEND ," which CHANMINA debuted during AREA OF DIAMOND FINAL, the culmination of her first-ever Tokyo Dome concert run, in July. The shows marked a major career milestone, with two sold-out nights drawing more than 200,000 ticket applications. Introduced with the words "This is my story," "LEGEND" offers a personal reflection on CHANMINA's journey, pairing an expressive vocal performance with a sound that moves across musical styles. Together, "HISTORY" and "LEGEND" offer different perspectives on the experiences and defining moments that have shaped her artistry.

This year, CHANMINA brought her music to American audiences at Zipangu at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, billed as the largest Japanese music event ever held on U.S. soil.

Alongside her own releases, CHANMINA has expanded her creative reach as the producer of HANA, the seven-member girl group formed through No No Girls, an audition project she created in partnership with BMSG. Across her work as a recording artist and producer, she continues to evolve her sound, visuals and creative direction while navigating the experiences of motherhood and a new chapter in her life.
