Introducing APMA's New and Improved eAdvocacy Hub

APMA has redesigned its eAdvocacy Action Center to make it easier than ever for members, patients, and students to engage in grassroots advocacy. The updated platform empowers APMA members to quickly engage their members of Congress and influence federal health policy. It also provides tools to take action on critical state legislation.

Grassroots advocacy is one of the most effective ways APMA members can show lawmakers the real-world impact of legislation on podiatric physicians and their patients. APMA members can participate in the following advocacy campaigns using the eAdvocacy platform:

  • Urge lawmakers to pass the Improving Seniors' Timely Access to Care Act. This would reform the inefficient Medicare Advantage prior authorization process and reduce unnecessary delays for seniors.

  • Urge lawmakers to cosponsor the VA CPE Modernization Act. This would expand continuing professional education reimbursement eligibility for podiatrists in the Veterans Health Agency.

Explore the new eAdvocacy Action Center today and join APMA's grassroots network in advancing legislative wins for podiatry nationwide.
