One Deceased, One Injured After Being Struck by a Moving Train

One male is deceased and another injured after being hit by a moving train.

On Monday, August 17, 2026, at approximately 8:54 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 6900 block of North Willamette Boulevard on reports of two males being hit by a BNSF Railway train. When they arrived, officers found one had sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
