AUO x PEUGEOT | Powered by Transparent Micro LED Technology, a New Vision for The Future Cockpit

AUO transparent Micro LED Display technology made its debut in the PEUGEOT RCZ VISION concept car at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, demonstrating how advanced display technology can open up new possibilities for cockpit design and human-machine interaction.

In collaboration with the PEUGEOT Design teams, AUO's 12.4-inch Transparent Micro LED Display HMI is integrated into the driver display positioned above the Hypersquare® steering control and the floating central display.

With its high transparency, exceptional image quality and design flexibility, the technology moves beyond the brightness limitations of conventional head-up displays and the constraints of traditional instrument design, while preserving visual openness between the cockpit and the outside environment, opening new possibilities for more intuitive human-machine interaction and next-generation cockpit design.

Through this application in the PEUGEOT RCZ VISION, AUO continues to explore the potential of Micro LED technology for next-generation smart cockpits and mobility experiences.
