Special Envoy of the AUC Chairperson met with President of Equatorial Guinea

As part of his ongoing consultions in line with his mandate, H.E. Amb. @AShingiro , Special Envoy of the Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission for Gabon & Equatorial Guinea, this week met with H.E. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of Equatorial Guinea in Mongomo, and with H.E. President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema of the Republic of Gabon in Libreville.

The discussions with the leaders focused on the AU's efforts to strengthen dialogue, promote good neighbourly relations, & deepen cooperation between the two sisterly countries, reaffirming the Union's commitment to African-led, peaceful solutions to regional issues.
