Statement on Senate Bill 498

CONCORD, N.H. - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement on members of the New Hampshire House voting to stall legislation that would hold insurance companies accountable for covering children's mental health care:

"It's disappointing to see elected representatives choose subsidizing insurance companies over kids' mental health care. Anthem and other carriers must be held accountable for denying families coverage for these critical services. I'm not giving up on this, and I'll continue working to ensure our children - and their families - get the care and support they need."
