Food Waste Challenge at The MAX
Internal Audit Monday October 20, 2025
Have you ever wondered how many pounds of food waste are collected at the MAX each day?
Stop by the table in The MAX lobby on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to place your guess for a chance to win some Georgia College & State University swag! Volunteers from the Office of Sustainability will be on hand to explain how they transform this waste into compost for the West Campus Community Garden.
Results will be posted and prizes can be picked up on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 12 to 1 p.m. in The MAX lobby.
This activity is part of the USG Ethics Awareness Week, Nov. 3-9, 2025. More information about Ethics Awareness Week can be found here.
