A meeting was held with the Ambassador of Qatar to Uzbekistan

On December 19, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Uzbekistan Hassan bin Hamza Hashim.

During the negotiations, a comprehensive exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects of Uzbekistan-Qatar relations. In particular, the main results achieved in 2025 in the political-diplomatic, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian, tourism, and education sectors were summarized.

In addition, specific tasks were identified to ensure the effective implementation of measures included in the bilateral agenda for 2026.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the consistent implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and of further strengthening ties in mutually beneficial areas through the full use of existing opportunities.
