Starting Soon: Photography Residency Programme 2026

The EU Delegation is pleased to present the programme of the upcoming Photography Residency taking place in Amman from 17 to 23 April, organised in partnership with the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts and under the artistic direction of photographer and artist Tariq Dajani.

The residency will bring together 15 photographers from Europe and Jordan to explore the theme "People, Land, Memories." Photographers from Cyprus, Greece, France, Spain, and Slovenia will join ten Jordanian photographers for a week of artistic exchange, discovery, and collaboration. During this time, participants will explore Amman and surrounding areas, sharing perspectives and capturing stories that reflect Jordan's landscapes, communities, and lived experiences.

OPEN LENS - Residency Programme

In addition to their creative work, a series of evening workshops and sessions open to the public will take place as part of the OPEN LENS - Residency Programme, designed to encourage dialogue between photographers, cultural professionals, and photography enthusiasts.
