Willkie represented PAI Partners in connection with the sale of its portfolio company World Freight Company, a leading global air freight services provider, to Brookfield.
PAI and BPEA Private Equity Fund VI (EQT) recently announced that Brookfield, through its private equity business, agreed to acquire World Freight Company from PAI and EQT.
Founded in 2004, World Freight Company is one of the world's largest general sales and service agents for the global air freight industry. The company represents airlines to sell and manage cargo capacity while coordinating key operational activities including booking, handling and shipment oversight.
Willkie previously advised PAI on its joint acquisition of World Freight Company in 2018.
