BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University will welcome three-time Emmy-nominated actor and author Rainn Wilson - best known as Dwight Schrute on NBC's The Office - for a fun and thought-provoking evening of conversation and stories starting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, at the Stroh Center.
As part of the top-ranked BGSU experience, the event presented by the Office of Student Engagement will allow members of the learning and greater community to enjoy one of today's most inspiring and entertaining performers live on campus.
Known for his quick wit, infectious humor and thoughtful storytelling, Wilson combines comedy and curiosity to create an entertaining and unforgettable show.
Co-founder of the media company SoulPancake, Wilson has explored life's biggest questions - from creativity and connection to purpose and joy - all with the perfect balance of heart and hilarity.
As a New York Times bestselling author, Wilson has written multiple books, including "Soul Boom: Why We Need a Spiritual Revolution," "The Bassoon King: My Life, Art, Faith and Idiocy" and "SoulPancake: Chew on Life's Big Questions."
In addition to acting and writing, Wilson serves as host of the Soul Boom podcast and previously hosted "The Geography of Bliss" on Peacock.
