We've reached the midway point of Jack Henry™ Connect, and the excitement has been nonstop!
This week has been packed with highlights, including the Main Stage Executive Update with COO Shanon McLachlan and CFO Mimi Carsley. They shared the latest organizational updates and offered valuable insights into the industry - insights that reminded us of the importance of community and how it's what makes our industry special.
Bangor Savings Bank, Bits of Stock, Delta Community Credit Union, equipifi, Simmons Bank, and Y-12 Federal Credit Union have been named 2025 Cobalt Award winners!
"The Cobalt Awards celebrate financial institutions and fintechs who break barriers, drive change, and weave innovation into the fabric of financial services. We're proud to celebrate their successes and share their stories."
- Greg Adelson
We applaud these financial institutions and fintechs for their dedication to their communities and their passion for innovation - and celebrate them for empowering people with the financial freedom to move forward.
You can find more details about the Cobalt Awards and all the outstanding winners by checking out today's press release or by visiting the Cobalt Awards page.
Today's Main Stage session with Mastercard® was a real standout.
Jack Henry's Lee Wetherington and Mastercard's Chiro Aikat explored the shifts in consumer spending and payments driven by younger generations, including Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha. They explored actionable strategies for acquiring and retaining these digital-natives - with a focus on how community financial institutions can remain relevant and resilient in an ever-changing financial landscape.
"Newer generations are happy to be early adopters. And 46% of them are also willing to share their data, as long as sharing that data gives them experiences with value. It's a very different mindset."
- Chiro Aikat, Co-President U.S. Region, Mastercard
Our interactive LEGO® build has become a community canvas - every minifigure that gets snapped into place reminds us that small actions create big impact.
What started as a few scattered bricks now stretches across the table like a vibrant beachscape. If you haven't already, make sure to check out this community Ocean Avenue taking shape: you'll find your peers cheering for each new block!
Tonight's Tech Hall Reception is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. - so don't miss your chance to connect with industry leaders and learn more about the latest fintech solutions.
We've seen some great ideas come out of these conversations. We can't wait to see what the final day brings!
Kindly,
Your Conference Correspondent
