PM marks opening of Shri Kedarnath Dham and commencement of Chardham Yatra

Prime Minister conveys his sentiments through a letter addressed to all devotees

The Prime Minister today expressed deep reverence on the sacred occasion of the opening of the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, marking the commencement of this year's Chardham Yatra. On the occasion, the Prime Minister shared his heartfelt sentiments through a letter addressed to all devotees visiting Uttarakhand for the Yatra, and extend his best wishes and prayers for their well-being.

Highlighting the spiritual significance of the occasion, Shri Modi noted that the journey to Kedarnath Dham and the Chardham is a divine celebration of India's enduring faith, unity, and rich cultural traditions. He emphasized that such pilgrimages offer a glimpse into the country's eternal heritage and spiritual consciousness.

"देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की पवित्र धरती पर आज श्री केदारनाथ धाम के कपाट पूरे विधि-विधान के साथ हम सभी श्रद्धालुओं के लिए खोल दिए गए हैं।

केदारनाथ धाम और चारधाम की यह यात्रा हमारी आस्था, एकता और समृद्ध परंपराओं का दिव्य उत्सव है। इन यात्राओं से हमें भारत की सनातन संस्कृति के दर्शन भी होते हैं।

इस वर्ष चारधाम यात्रा के आरंभ उत्सव पर, उत्तराखंड आने वाले सभी श्रद्धालुओं के लिए मैंने एक पत्र के माध्यम से अपनी भावनाएं व्यक्त की हैं।

मेरी कामना है कि बाबा केदार सभी पर अपनी कृपा बनाए रखें और आपकी यात्राओं को शुभ करें।
