Penn State Altoona students share Alternative Spring Break experiences

ALTOONA, Pa. - Students who took part in Penn State Altoona's 2026 Alternative Spring Break will present on their experiences Tuesday, April 14, at 12:10 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.
Participants immersed themselves in the culture of Luquillo, Puerto Rico, over the break and served the community by providing hands-on work for disaster relief, environmental restoration, and recovery projects.
Stop by to hear students recount their experiences and enjoy a light lunch of traditional Puerto Rican rice and beans while available.
