Road closure on Clark Avenue near City Hall

Clark Avenue will be closed in both directions for maintenance work near the City Hall entrance from Monday, Dec. 1 through Wednesday, Dec. 3, between 3 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

The closure will extend from just north of Del Amo Boulevard to the Best Buy driveway entrance, which will remain open.

The Clark Avenue City Hall parking lot, including the circular driveway and EV charging stations, will be closed during this time.

Pedestrian access to City Hall will remain open.

Here's how to reach nearby locations during the closure:

• Home Depot and Albertsons: Enter from Del Amo Boulevard or Candlewood Street.

• Costco Gas Station: Enter from Candlewood Street or via the Best Buy driveway off Clark Avenue.

• Lakewood Sheriff's Station: Use the northern driveway to enter.

• Lakewood City Hall, The Centre, Iacoboni Library: Park in the rear lot accessible from Civic Center Way via Del Amo Boulevard or Candlewood Street.
