Distinguished Alumni: Ann Holloway’s impact on higher education and communities

DURANT, Okla. - Ann Holloway, a Southeastern Oklahoma State University alumna and Regent Emeritus, has built a distinguished career defined by leadership in business, higher education and service to communities across Oklahoma.

Holloway has demonstrated exceptional business leadership for more than 25 years. She currently serves as managing member of EAH LLC and president of Holloway Incorporated, while continuing her commitment to education and civic service.

Her contributions to higher education have had a lasting impact throughout Oklahoma. Holloway served for nine years as a regent for the Regional University System of Oklahoma before being appointed to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education by Gov. Mary Fallin in 2013. She was reappointed in 2015 and served through May 2024.

As a State Regent, Holloway helped champion educational opportunities for students across Oklahoma. Her service was recognized with her appointment as Regent Emeritus and her induction into the Oklahoma Higher Education Heritage Hall of Fame in 2024. She was one of 10 members of the 2024 class and became the 16th person associated with Southeastern to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Holloway has been active in numerous civic and community organizations, including the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association, Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, United Way, March of Dimes and other organizations dedicated to serving Oklahoma communities.

Her professional and civic accomplishments have earned recognition throughout her career, including honors as one of the Outstanding Young Women of Oklahoma and inclusion in Who's Who of Outstanding Women in America. Holloway has also been recognized as a Distinguished Alumni from Murray State College in 2024.

For more than 30 years, Holloway also has been involved in homebuilding in Playacar, a resort community in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, adding another dimension to her professional experience and business endeavors.
