DALLAS - Preliminary STAAR results show Dallas ISD students are making strong academic gains across grade levels and subjects, with notable increases at the Approaches, Meets, and Masters performance levels. Students also performed at or above the state average in several End-of-Course categories, reflecting continued growth in reading, language arts, and mathematics. District leaders say the results highlight the impact of high expectations, innovative instruction, and a commitment to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed.

VISUALS: Resource Center South provides groceries at no-cost
This summer, Resource Center South is helping Dallas ISD families put healthy meals on the table by offering grocery assistance. On the first and third Wednesday of each month, parents can visit the center to select fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, and other pantry staples at no cost. The program helps ensure students have continued access to nutritious food throughout the summer months while school is out of session.
